Although my nickname may give the impression that I come from the Spanish-speaking world, that's not true. I'm Czech, and I got this nickname back in school. I started growing cannabis in 1992, not knowing at the time how important a role it would one day play in my life. A few years later, I tried growing my own plants in a forest clearing, and within a few years, I had built my own indoor grow room.

Many years have passed since then, and a lot has happened. Among other things, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, which was treated in part with chemotherapy. During the chemo, I discovered how effective cannabis can be in alleviating the side effects of treatment. Today, I know that's just the tip of the iceberg of what this plant is capable of.

I’m still fascinated by cannabis and its many uses. I’ve written two books on the subject and regularly contribute to several European magazines focused on cannabis. A few times a year, I lecture at conferences dedicated to this amazing plant. I'm constantly learning new things about its cultivation, applications, and how to work with it. I visit growers in various countries and have earned several certificates confirming my expertise.

For five years, I worked in an experimental cannabis grow facility focused on testing different growing techniques and nutrient supplements under artificial lighting. I also work as a cultivation consultant. You can reach me through the contact details at www.pestovat.cz.

I wish you lots of success – and hope you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for in my books and online courses.
